51. Re-Learn how to play chess

I love how many of my list items are happening purely organically without my attempts to check them off!

Last Friday, Jay and I had a lovely date day since I was off for Good Friday. We started off our morning at a new coffee shop in town called Nich's. It's an adorable spot and they serve Rise Up Coffee. I am looking forward to their espresso machine, as they just have drip coffee now. I'm hoping that they also consider doing a pour-over bar there. I've become a bit of a coffee snob.

At any rate, Jay and I played chess and he kicked my ass. That said, I am looking forward to a rematch soon.

Jay beat me quite easily

I am looking forward to many games of chess in the Outer Banks this summer (number 48). I need to post about my Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre experience. It was heaps of fun, and Jay was chosen as the murderer for our Saturday night performance, which made it all worth it.
